The Green Bee is located in Camus Oughter in Connemara on the route of the Wild Atlantic Way. We are beekeepers, soap makers & jam makers who sell our produce from our honesty box at the front of our house.
Every summer we sell our great tasting raw honey which is produced by our honeybees. They forage freely on the wild flowers growing amongst the thousands of acres of bog land and hedgerows which surround our apiary.
We make homemade cosmetics including a range of sulphate-free clay shampoo bars, goat's milk soaps, solid conditioner bar and body butter. We use only high quality natural ingredients which are all 100% biodegradable and palm free. We believe in using a minimum amount of packaging and any packaging that we do use is either recyclable or compostable. By choosing to use one of our soap bars, shampoo bars or conditioner bar you are not only purchasing a high quality product but also eliminating the need for up to 3 plastic bottles.
Our shampoo bars, body butter, soaps & conditioner bar have all been safety assessed in an independent lab and we have obtained a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (certification) as required by Regulation 1223/2009 to sell legally in the EU & UK.
