Sesame Seaweed Salad is high in Iodine (156 microgram Iodine ---and supplies 106% of ones recommended daily Iodine requirement. Seaweed is the food that contains the highest amount of Iodine and is the only vegetarian / vegan source of this vital mineral. Seaweeds also contain many minerals, particularly trace elements such as selenium, cobalt and manganese as well as the more macro minerals Calcium, Iron and Magnesium. They also have trace amounts of vitamins. This salad may be enjoyed on its own or as part of a larger meal such as a stir fry ( see website for recipe suggestions ---- website is www.seaweedsalads.ie. For customers wishing a larger quantity such as 1 kg, this I will supply in 5 x 200g packs , which may be frozen. The shelf life of the defrosted product will be still three weeks in chill refrigeration.

The product is free of artificial colours, preservatives, MSG and Gluten (gluten analysis is < 5ppm. The Coeliac Society consider any product < 200ppm to be Gluten Free
