This delicious rye sourdough is made with organic rye flour and organic rye sourdough starter. Borodinsky is made using a process that takes 24 hours! The addition of barley malt and coriander seeds results in a beautiful and complex flavour— distinctly rye with warm and sweet overtones. This is a traditional Russian bread, a household staple, and a favourite of both Anya’s and Mary’s. It tastes especially great with smoked and pickled foods.
