Karen’s Bees
I am a small scale beekeeper of the Native Irish Honeybee, who wants to promote natural ways of beekeeping. I do not treat my bees with chemicals , nor do I feed them sugar. They are kept as naturally as possible. Therefore I only remove surplus honey and have very limited batches.
I have several apiaries with between 1 and 4 hives in different areas. The honey is sold as single apiary, I do not mix honey from different locations. The bees have foraged different areas, so the flavour does vary from apiary to apiary.
Choose your honey by location closest to you or try them all! Take your pick.
All honey is unprocessed, unfiltered and raw. This means it is especially pollenrich but you may find an occasional speck of wax in it. As it is raw , it is not suitable for under 1 year olds. All raw honey will eventually granulate, especially if it gets cold, so keep it warm or warm it up gently if it does granulate. And most importantly enjoy!
