Straw Smoked Scamorza is a simple stretched curd cheese (like mozzarella) that is hung for a short period of time to air dry, and then gently smoked over straw.
Sweet and delicate, with a gentle caramel and smoky flavours
Can be described as similar to Mozzarella, but firmer, dryer, and smoked.
Eat fresh or melt in cooking
In Naples, it's original home, Scamorza is often grilled like Halloumi.
Like all our cheeses, our Scamorza is a hand made product, which is why it varies between 200g and 230g.
