Lannleire Honey - Soft-Set Ivy Honey

Honey bees collect nectar from the flowers of the ivy in September and October. Ivy honey has a distinctive bitter-sweet flavour. Ivy honey crystallises more rapidly than any other honey. To prevent this, it is intermittently stirred to produce a “soft-set” product with a creamy texture. Soft-set honey is more spreadable and less "runny" than other honeys.
