Green Acres - Vintage Gouda

Gouda is an aged cheese with a colourful, wax-coated rind and a caramelized flavour when aged for a year or more. With ageing, Gouda develops calcium lactate crystals formed by the lactic acid in the cheese. It proffers an enjoyable crunch that is unique to waxed cheeses and has a crumbly texture.
