I love movies and movie poster art and this one is inspired by the movie , The Colour Purple. This dried flower wreath is a mix of Strawflower, Scabiosa, Purple Statice, a little Gypsophila, Nigella Seed Pods and ferns and grasses for texture and movement. Colours used are mainly shades of Purple, Whites, and off-white with little punches of yellow orange from the Santolina Cotton Lavender.
The gold hoop is 20cm width but with flowers on, it is 35cm width x 45cm height approximately.
All flowers are grown from seed here on my flower farm and are grown without the use of harsh chemicals.
The flowers are air dried and handtied in small bunches onto the wire hoop with just less than 100 stems used in this wreath. It is tied off with brown twine and finished with a beautiful naturally dyed silk ribbon made by @Pomegranatecolours so you can hang it easily.
It is for indoor use only and must be kept away from damp, direct sunlight and the elements.
