We are a romantic lot here at Neighbourfood Falkland so we decided to put our heads together and our hearts (aww!!!) and come up with a schmoozy night in meal kit using some of our fabulous local suppliers.
We've teamed up with Thea Samuel of Sri Spice Ltd and local chef Stella Colleluori to create a tasty spicy night in for 2 using venison from Falkland Estate and vegetables from Nethermyres Farm. We've even found mango chutney made in Fife by the talented Fiona audsley of Pittenweem Preserves but as you can imagine rice isn't easy to come by in Fife so we've teamed up with Kilombero Rice - the tastiest and most ethical rice on the planet!
There is everything you need in this months kit to create a delicious authentic Sri Lankan curry and if you fancy dessert check out Simply Flo for their delicious Teyn Bsikar (syrupy figs and walnuts) It's perfect for a quick and delicious dessert heaped over ice cream.
Please note your venison is frozen and will need to defrost for around 12 hours or overnight in the fridge.
