We run a small farm by the site of an old saw mill at Wilton, Bree, on the banks of the river Boro and nestled under Bree Hill. It is this mill that gives the farm its name.
By 'we', we mean the family and willing helpers of sisters Sinead and Ellen Whelan. Helpers mainly take the form of Tom (the chap in the yard!), our ever helpful father and our 4 willing children, ranging in age from 8 to 13. This enterprise will hopefully mature and grow with our kids.
The livestock we have are extensively reared, with minimal intervention and best animal welfare practices.
