At Castlescreen Farm lots of things goes into making our beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and eggs the best quality and highest welfare you can get. Long days for starters! Farming practices that blend the best of tradition and innovation. And some of the finest organic grass with a high white clover mix that grows naturally in our little corner of Ireland.
But the real secret is the singular ethos we bring to work every day: we take care of our little farm so that it can take care of everything else: our Dexter cattle, our sheep and pigs, our chickens and our bees.
Castlescreen is not a big commercial farming operation. One of the biggest things about us is that we take pride in being small and perfectly formed.
We’re a family farm with a clear focus on sustainability and so we take a regenerative approach to looking after every inch of every field for the welfare of the animals and the benefit of the planet.
