Camphill Communities of Ireland is part of an international movement working with people with intellectual disabilities and other kinds of special needs.
All our residents and day attendees participate in the growing of the food that takes place on our land in Doonsheane.
We have a beautiful bio-dynamic garden with polytunnels and a bustling farm that supplies the community with all our food needs from organic vegetables, fruit, cheese, milk, yogurt, beef and lamb.
We also have a weaving workshop full of creativity and a therapeutic candle workshop.
All the proceeds from our sales go into funding the workshops and the various activities that we offer to our participants.
