We are a family run business producing organic eggs, based in Hacketstown, Co Carlow. Established in 2006, when we had 250 organic hens we created the following mission:
“We provide value to customers by producing, grading, packing and delivering quality organic eggs. Our specialist organic farm consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations. Our eggs are produced in Carlow, where hens roam free on organic pastures and feed on a strict organic diet. We pride ourselves on excellent animal welfare standards and the quality and taste of our eggs.”
Organic birds have much bigger space both in door and outdoor than free range and have a much smaller flock size to ensure the best possible welfare for our hens. Our hens are free-ranging on organic pasture, which means we don’t use chemicals or artificial fertilisers when cultivating the land.
We have slowly grown our business over the past 12 years and currently have 3,000 birds housed in 3 state-of-the-art poultry units. Our hens have access to organic food and fresh water at all times. Looking after our environment is a priority and what better way to do it than the organic way.
