The Wine Buff Cork - Melisa Malbec Mendoza

Grape Variety: Malbec

Violet with a hint of spice on the nose with underlying black cherry notes, in the mouth raspberry with a hint of blackcurrants, quite smooth tannins followed by a finish of liquorice and a sprinkling of pepper.

Great with barbecue food.

A number of years ago a donation was made to this vineyard and the money was used to send three children of the vineyard workers into full time education.

Patricio the owner still contributes to their education which is now at 3rd level and he named this wine Melisa after the first child who started in school all those years ago.
