Sonas Trading - Courgette Bread (Like Gingerbread But Better!)

Pia used to garden with her father during the summer months, and there was always an abundance of glossy green courgettes. Courgette Bread was born out of the need to find a way to use up the surfeit of vegetables!

Comforting and warm, it has the flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. It could be mistaken for a gingerbread - but there’s something more. A deeper beat, a flavour that makes this bread special.

It’s delicious as is, with a cuppa. It can be buttered, toasted, or spread with cream cheese. It lasts for a good while, and can be frozen, if you can resist the temptation not to eat it all in one go.

We use organic courgettes grown in our garden - and if we run out, we source organic courgettes from Neighbourfood!
