Sonas Trading - Cinnamon Rolls

It’s funny how taste memory works... it’s like the old refrain from a favourite song. A taste can bring back the feeling of a time, a place, an emotion. Pia’s best friend had talked about how good the cinnamon rolls were in Amsterdam. So she set about reproducing them, and many iterations later, he said, “Here we are!”

These cinnamon rolls are not too sweet but they taste deeply of cinnamon. They are buttery and light (Pia uses the milk bread dough). They don’t have any icing spread all over, but the tops are crispy and have a satisfying crunch. They’re perfect for a mid morning break or to tuck into a school lunch for a happy treat.
