Simply Herdwick - Lamb Shoulder With Bone In

This very underrated cut of meat is best cooked slowly for up to 5 hours. The outer layer of fat helps flavour the meat throughout the long slow cook and once cooked the meat will fall away from the bone very easily. The pulled lamb can be used in stews, sandwiches or even served as a dish with seasonal vegetables..

A 1.5 kg shoulder will produce roughly 500-600g of meat, we anticipate this can feed up 3 very hungry people.
