Any cut of meat that is cooked with the bone still attached adds soooooo much more flavour to the meat. The neck is not a cut of lamb (or in our case Hogget) that is well known and there is many ways to enjoy lamb neck, whether it be in a curry, stew or even served whole.
Whole neck is best cooked slowly on a low heat until it effortlessly falls off the bone, slow cook in a red wine sauce and serve with seasonal vegetables and mash it is sure to be a truly enjoyable meal.
One whole neck will happily feed 2 people.
