These tomatoes are picked in Southern Italy, cut in half and then laid out along wire meshes in fields to dry and dehydrate naturally in the sun, salted and packed in cardboard boxes.
We re hydrate and desalt them with hot filtered water and dress them with our own special blend of extra virgin olive oil, fresh garlic and fresh basil.
Packed with flavour; savoury, sweet, tangy and a little piquante.
We dress them with Extra Virgin olive oil which solidifies in the fridge, and needs time to thaw. Your sun dried tomatoes will look and taste best at room temperature.
