Olives West Cork - Spanish Chickpeas (Dried)

As known in Spain, these Garbanzo de Fuentesaúco are dried chickpeas grown in the province of Zamora. Chickpeas have been cultivated in Zamora since Roman times and is a staple food in the region. They are of a superior quality with a richer flavor and larger size, than most dried chcikpeas. Garbanzo de Fuentesaúco are buttery and grainy in texture and have a unique, nutty flavor.
