Olives West Cork - Lentils De Tierra De Campos (Spanish Lentils)

These delicious Spanish lentils are grown in the unpolluted soil and under the bright skies of the León, Palencia, Valladolid and Zamora provinces in Spain. They are brown to gray-brown with black flecks, smooth and buttery in texture.

Harvesting takes place from late June to July and the lentils are dried and stored in conditions that preserve their natural properties. Nutritionally, these lentils are high in protein and fibre, low in fat and have a significant content of iron and calcium. Lentils are naturally gluten free and used in a traditional Spanish lentil soup is the perfect warmer for cold days! These are available in 1kg bags.
