Rainbow Chard or Swiss chard is a member of the spinach family.
This beautiful vegetable can be eaten raw or cooked.
The steams take a little longer to cook while the leaves cook in exactly the same way as spinach.
Packed full of antioxidants and vitamins, chard is a superfood. As they say, eat the rainbow for health!
You can pan fry chard alone, add it to stir frys, casseroles, ramens, soups, use the leaves to wrap around other foods similar to vine leaves or add to gratin's to boost their nutritional value.
