Handmade from 100% Palivec Chillies grown from seed at Foragers.
We smoke the chillies over oak wood for several hours to give a distinctive, fruity aroma and flavour. Then they are dehydrated to a crisp to take all the moisture out and lock the flavour in.
Simply snip the dried chillies with scissors to add a gentle smokey heat to stews, casseroles, hearty soups, pizzas, egg and cheese dishes. Add a smoked spicey zing to meat, fish and vegetable recipes. Chillies can also be added to sweet dishes, including chocolate and caramel based desserts.
Although the bag is sealed we recommend that you store in an air tight container, in a cool dark place to retain flavour. Use within 6 months.
The sealed bag is made from NatureFlex, a biodegradable and compostable film made from natural, renewable resources.
