Brian's wines - Blanc Sense Papers - Bodegas Clandestina

A delicate, intricate and layered Xarel-lo that typifies the calibre of wines coming from the cellar of Ferran Lacruz Bosch, of Bodegas Clandestina. Ferran farms 8 h/a of vines, making single plot expressions of the complex calcareous soils in Alt Penedes, in Catalunya, Spain. Organic farming with some biodynamic and careful winemaking without additions of any kind help Ferran capture the voice of the Penedes in his bottlings with both clarity and precision. I'm a huge fan of these wines, it's a pleasure to be working with Ferran to bring them to Ireland. White fruit, flowers and citrus - delicate and delicious!
