Stone Baskets was made using inks that I made from copper ingots, rust and a mixture of oak gall and iron.
From a newbody of work entitled San Aimsir Chian-aosta (Long Long Ago) I give you two offerings. Stone Baskets being one of them. This series is driven by the Cup and Ring marks which are stone carvings found all over Ireland, dating as far back as the Late Neolithic period (about 5,000 years ago I believe) and continuing on into the Bronze age.
This print of the original has been produced on Hahnemuhle photo rag 308g paper using Epson Ultrachrome HDX Pigment inks. Both are archival quality giving you a high quality, lightfast print.
It is presented in a mount, measuring 25.5cm x 30.5cm, which fits into a 10x12” frame.
