An Ghrian Glas farm - Eggs From Organically Fed And Free Range Chickens

Its winter now and our hens dont lay as much due to less daylight and colder weather. We dont manipulate their environment to keep them laying consistantly all year round. Evwryone deserves a rest at this time of year. They still eat the same so unfortunately we need to cover costs as a result you will notice our price is a little more. We hope you understand.
Our hens are kept in small flocks, have access to a large grazing area (some are completely free range as they regularly fly out of the designated area just for fun). They are fed a certified organic feed which they top up when they graze a selection of native wild plants and grasses. They are not kept under any heat lamps or lights to extend their laying time throughout winter. They are very happy hens, we think you will taste this in their eggs.
