This salt from the small village of Guerande in Brittany, France. It is still collected using traditional practices, allowed to slowly dry in salt plains over the summer, where it is collected daily. Naturally mineral-rich, due to its contact with the sea beds, it is perfect for everyday cooking, adding to soups and stews, amazing for fermenting also. It is a coarse salt so if you wish to use it as a finishing salt on the table, we advise to grind or crush and allow to dry naturally then pop it into a sealed container.
