Myself (Tracy) & my husband Steve set up our micro farm, The Ethical Gardener in 2016 in a sunny seaside location in North Wexford. We were both serious about the environment and about what we put in our bodies so going the certified organic route was really the only option for us. We are certified by the Organic Trust and grow all of our produce to their exacting standards.
We have been supplying restaurants, health food shops and select grocers with our live and cut microgreens, herbs and salads since. We are passionate about the environment and from the start, we sourced ethical packaging like compostable clams, recycled paper labels & recycled punnets. Even being one of the first companies in Ireland to use recycled labels.
We supply our produce all year round and we are constantly adding new varieties to our selection.
We believe in local, fresh food from practices which don’t cost the earth. Ethical food….it’s in our name!
