Born out of a love of Caribbean, Central & South American food – RockSteady Food Co. began in 2017 with a mission to bring a taste of the islands to Ireland – Positive vibrations through food.
Our first product – Fire in the Dance, was something we developed as the perfect accompaniment to our Jerk Chicken, Beef & Vegan burgers for our pop up events and proved so popular that we decided to bottle it!
Each and every bottle is hand crafted in Cork and made under the influence of Reggae Music! – the sauce is cooked with Chipotle chilis & Rising Sons’ Handsum IPA – for a sweet & smokey spice like no other! As the name suggests it is quiet fiery, but won’t blow your head off. Fire in the Dance sits squarely at the “medium” point on the heat scale. The sauce is vegan friendly.
Our “Cool Runnings” Jerk BBQ is now available – as the name would suggest a step down the heat scale from our Fire in the Dance packing a Jerk punch!
Launched in September 2018 is our brand new sauce “Jamaican mi Crazy” – a fiery scotch bonnet and pineapple sauce packing some serious heat!
