Peter farms a mixed farm at Newtown , outside Castledermot in south Co. Kildare, with a little help from his wife Áine and adult children Leah, Aidan, Laura, Simon and Clare.

The main farming operation is Aberdeen Angus, Limousin and Hereford suckler cows and calves and tillage forms rest of the farming.
We operate under the Bord Bia Quality Assured Programme and currently Peter is a participant in the Teagasc Green Acres Calf to Beef Programme.

Our product range consists of
Our own reared Aberdeen Angus, Limousin & Hereford Beef,
Locally sourced Lamb,
O’Neills Dry-cure Bacon
Free Range chickens (Carlow Free Range & Byrne’s Free Range )
Our own farm fresh Eggs

Our beef is brought to our local butcher where the beef is dry aged for a minimum of 18 day’s and often up to 28 day’s for taste & tenderness
Our quality lamb is sourced from local farmers and aged for 9 day’s ensuring maximum taste and tenderness.

Peter commenced selling meat at Carlow Farmers Market in 2006 and continues to do so. He also currently sells at Airfield farmers market, Dundrum, Dublin and in the past has had a meat stall at Naas farmers market from 2011-2019.
