Norman and I bought this farm in 1990. We bought this derelict farm house on 14 arces. We both knew that we wanted to farm and as we could only afford a small farm we chose to grow organic vegetables.
We became registered Organic growers in 1990 and we sold our first organic produce in the spring of 1990.We bought our first tunnel and ploughed and tilled the land and here we are 25 years later still ploughing and tilling and still loving the land.
Norman worked as an Agricultural contractor and I farmed the land with his help on the weekends.
We have since reared our 3 children on this lovely land and even bought more land in later years. This organic farm has been really good to us , enabling us to earn a good living with a great way of life.We must thank all of our marvelous customers for all the Nurney farm organic produce they have bought over the years. We are forever grateful.
