New Leaf Urban Farmers
New Leaf Urban Farmers was established in 2016. We are an award-winning micro-farm based in Ballyneety, County Limerick about 10kms from Limerick City Centre.
We grow chemical-free vegetables and herbs with an emphasis on Korean Natural Farming practices.
In 2019, after three years in operation, we were awarded the prestigious Eurotoques award in craft.
Our principle philosophy is about improving our soil biome. We use Korean Natural Farming techniques to introduce healthy biology into our soils which we collect locally. We also make our own natural fertilisers, plant medicines and anti-fungal sprays from plants found on the farm. Fermentation of these plants allows them to be used for extended periods of time ensuring we do not over-exploit our natural resources.
As a result, our plants are healthier and you enjoy a product which is bursting with flavour and nutrition.
