We founded Malay Kitchen in Cork in 2014, with our first little restaurant in Kinsale and branching out in Cork City few months after.
Food is a huge part in Malaysian culture and both of us have channelled this and our professional expertise as chefs into Malay Kitchen brand. Both of us are professional and qualified chefs, been working in Ireland since 2002 before venturing into business.
Elle have been working as a Head Chef in few establishments around Cork prior opening the restaurants. Norza is a professional and experienced pastry chef, working in a well known restaurant and food production facility prior venturing into the business. Her speciality is vegan baking and cooking, with Elle passion in hot kitchen and food management, makes them the dynamic all-girls-duo with own recipe creation, food developments and new products idea.
All our products are homemade and our own heritage recipes, prepared using fresh and local ingredients from local suppliers. We don't add any MSG to our food and most of it is also Vegan Friendly and Gluten Friendly. All products are Halal.
