Howe Hill Flowers

Ballydownis West, Kilbrittain, Co.Cork, Ballydownis

Howe Hill Flowers is a family smallholding near Kilbrittain, Co.Cork which grows a wonderful array of beautiful, cottage garden style cut flowers in harmony with the seasons and nature. Our flowers are sold in mixed market bouquets, we use recyclable fsc approved paper to wrap them as protection as they travel - every element of our bouquets is compostable and/or recyclable.

Our bouquet contents constantly change according to what is growing in our gardens - in springtime we grow tulips, anemones and ranunculus, then it shifts along to sweet williams, hesperis and foxgloves, summer brings cornflowers, dahlias, sweet pea and zinnias, and the grand finale are berries and sunflowers in autumn. Our flowers have been described as romantic, whimsical and nostalgic, and of having a completely different energy to those flown in from afar.

We also produce pretty edible flowers which can be used to adorn and garnish food and drinks. We are a registered grower with The Department of Agriculture, and our edible flowers are completely chemical free, ie. grown to organic principles and safe to eat or just to decorate food and drinks with!

Howe Hill Flowers also supply a range of Fair Trade import plants and bulbs, especially in the winter months when not much is growing - we need plants and flowers and know you do too, and so we select some of our favourites to share. Our plants and bulbs are sourced through our Dutch supplier and are always of European origin.

Howe Hill Flowers is fronted by farm manager & floral designer Flicky (Felicity) Howe. We look forward to sharing with you the joy and wonder of garden grown flowers.
