These eggs are from Pat Burke's farm in Ballydrehid Cahir. Pat has a variety of 45 hens of different breeds on the farm. Pedigree Hen varieties include; Dexel, Mottled Ranger, Amber Star, Blue Bell and Araucana along with the trusty Rhode Island Red hybrid. The pedigree varieties although beautiful are less prolific when it comes to laying so it can be difficult to know week on week how many eggs will be available. Therefore if you love the taste of very local very fresh eggs, get your order in quick!!
