We are offering unique and specially selected Colombian coffees freshly harvested and roasted at origin through direct trade. Our aim is to build a more ethical and sustainable supply chain, guaranteeing good social, economic, and environmental business practices. It is a Farm to Cup experience! Coffee with purpose and impact. It is a relationship coffee.
At Ethical Origin, we are building on previous relationships with local growers and small farmer associations and cooperatives of women's groups, indigenous, victims, and ex-combatants of the Colombian armed conflict who are running Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) following organic and sustainable local practices. A model that shortens the supply chain, supports the producer, adds more equal distribution to the value of coffee, and also it reduces our carbon footprint.
EO was created to respond to the needs of local coffee growers in Colombia to establish contact with international consumers. The nexus between Food, Trade, Human Rights, Peace, Regenerative Tourism, and Sustainable Development is at the centre of our practices.
Our local partners are involved in local initiatives including strategies such as conservation of biodiversity areas locally, reforestation, and agroforestry practices, planting native trees, and contributing to education and social local projects.
