Early Bird Free Range Eggs
Trevor Power and Sandra Mulcahy have been producing free range eggs on their farm in Ballinamult since 2005. Our journey began at the farmers markets in Clonmel and Dungarvan.
Demand increased year on year and in 2014 Early Bird Free Range Eggs was launched. This involved setting up a dedicated packing centre so the eggs are laid, graded and packed on the farm and delivered directly from the farm to local farmers markets, shops and restaurants. This ensures our customers are getting the freshest eggs possible.
At Early Bird Free Range Eggs we produce the highest quality free range eggs. The welfare of our hens is very important to us. The hens are free to roam the fields, clucking, scratching and living as nature intended. We are currently the only free range egg producer in Co. Waterford approved by the Department of Agriculture to deliver directly from our farm to local retailers and catering outlets.
