Cork Rooftop Farm is a project, setup amid the COVID-19 lockdown, to grow sustainable, delicious food on a rooftop in the heart of Cork City. Brian McCarthy and Thayane Carlos are growing vegetables, herbs and fruit on a second story roof, a quarter acre in size just off the historic trading street, the Coal Quay. The farm has also developed a no dig market garden near Coachford, along with pasture raised laying hens.
