Castlefreke Farms
Castlefreke farm is a chemical free farm nested between Castlefreke woodlands on one side and beautiful seaside on the other. We do have a passion for nature and wildlife which is the reason why we are farming sustainably. We have beehives with native Irish bees around all our Estate as we understand how important bees are for the environment. There is also a traditional walled garden with polytunnel on our Estate which produces seasonal fruit and vegetables. And if you think that this is enough you are far from the truth. We have a herd of native Irish Dexter cows and we also started growing our own mushrooms. Yes, you heard right! You will be able to find Oyster mushrooms, King Oyster mushroom, Shiitake and many more. We are constantly coming with new ideas so we would highly recommend to keep checking on our website.
