Carrickfern Honey

We produce pure Irish honey from beehives in our Apiaries in Counties Cavan, Longford and Westmeath. We do not buy in honey from any other place or country and we do not blend our honey with any other thing. Our honey is from a variety of native trees and plants common in Ireland. The main source would include whitethorn and blackthorn when in flower, Sycamore and Chestnut trees and clover and bramble. The bees will forage on a wide variety of nectar sources as are available to them. We try to site our beehives in locations where people are conscious of their environment and are not inclined to use chemical sprays.
